We participated in the transformation of an old Slovenian hayrack into a modern and functional outdoor picnic space near Novo Mesto. The lighting concept was designed to create a warm atmosphere while highlighting the architectural character of the building. Inside, a Nowodvorski MONO track lighting system was installed to provide flexible illumination of key areas such as the fireplace, kitchen island, work surfaces, and dining space. The project features MONO Track 10239, MONO Track 7582, MONO II Track 7766, and MONO 7763 mounted on 8716 black track rails. The exterior lighting is based on two complementary Gea Luce fixtures – Amon RM GES1005 and Bollard GES1110 – which together create a balanced and functional lighting concept. Both luminaires effectively highlight the architecture, illuminate pathways and outdoor areas, and contribute to a warm evening ambience. The result is a space where the traditional character of the hayrack blends with contemporary lighting solutions.
